1. Who we are
PastQ Master provides exam-preparation tools for Nigerian students. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
2. What we collect
We collect the details you give us when you sign up (your name, email, and target exam), the practice and test activity you generate while studying, and basic technical data such as device and log information needed to run and secure the Service. If you pay for a subscription, our payment partner processes your card details — we never store them.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to run your account, deliver practice questions and CBT tests, calculate your analytics and weak areas, provide AI explanations, process payments, send important service and verification emails, and keep the platform safe. We do not sell your personal data.
4. AI features
When you use the AI tutor, the question text or image you submit is sent to our AI provider solely to generate an explanation. We do not use your private content to train third-party models beyond what is needed to answer your request.
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us operate — for example hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and AI explanations — and only as far as needed. We may also disclose information where required by law.
6. Data retention and security
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal and operational requirements. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, and access is protected with encryption in transit and access controls.
7. Your rights
You can view and update your profile, change your password, and delete your account at any time from your settings. Deleting your account removes your personal data, subject to any records we must keep by law. You can also contact us to request a copy of your data.
8. Children
Many of our users are secondary-school students. If you are under 18, please use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We collect only the information needed to provide exam practice.
